Horse Finder – User Agreement

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Horse Finder, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. You confirm that all information provided during registration is accurate and that you are at least 16 years of age.

  1. Marketplace Role

Horse Finder operates strictly as an advertising platform.

• The platform is not the seller, agent, or broker of any horses, animals, equipment, or services listed.

• We do not inspect or verify the quality of the horses or items listed.

• All transactions occur off-site directly between users.

  1. Account Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account details.

• Take full responsibility for all activity occurring under your account.

  1. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are held to the following standards:

• Accuracy: Listings must be truthful, legal, and not misleading.

• Welfare: Sellers must comply with all UK animal welfare and trading standards.

• Communication: Sellers are responsible for all buyer correspondence and payment processing off-site.

• Disclosure: Any health issues, vices, or relevant history regarding the horse must be disclosed clearly.

  1. Payments & Fees

Listing fees are processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

• Fees are non-refundable once a listing is live, unless required by law.

• Horse Finder does not store full payment card details on its servers.

  1. Prohibited Use

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Posting fraudulent, illegal, or harmful content.

• Harassing other users or platform staff.

• Scraping or misusing data from the site.

• Attempting to bypass platform fees or security measures.

  1. Privacy & Data

By creating an account, you consent to Horse Finder processing your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You maintain the right to request data deletion or access to your information at any time.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Horse Finder provides this platform on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for:

• The accuracy, safety, or legality of any listings.

• The behavior or conduct of any users.

• Financial loss, personal injury, or disputes arising from a sale or purchase.

• Incidents of fraud occurring between third parties.

  1. Termination

Horse Finder reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate this agreement.

• Pose a safety risk to the community.

• Are suspected of fraudulent activity.

Users may delete their accounts at any time through their profile settings.

  1. Governing Law

This agreement and any disputes arising from it are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.
